I think that this is a fantastic quote! I like it so much because when people think of public health, they mostly think of disease, however mental health does not get enough attention! More and more young people are dying each year from suicides, and in order to stop this, we need to focus on improving society’s mental health!

How do you feel about this video? I personally think that mandatory vaccines are a good thing! The more people get vaccinated, the less people will contract unnecessary diseases like measles. This is called herd immunity, which is when there are 95% of people vaccinated, the 5% of people not vaccinated are less likely to contract the disease.
The vaccine controversy continues! As I shared before, I agree with making vaccines mandatory. This is one example of how public health concerns politics! Many parents seem to think that too many vaccines are harmful for their children, however the risk of children being harmed from a serious illness is far greater than the possibility of children being harmed by a vaccination. Although it should not be, this seems to be a controversial topic. I feel this is a good video to demonstrate what is going on in the public health world! How do you feel about vaccines?
